TENNIS FACILITIES IN BRIGG - THE BALL SHOULD BE IN WHOSE COURT?

Helen Cresswell, well-known in local tennis circles, has been in touch to point out that now Andy Murray has won the US Open, and lifted this sport into the headlines, perhaps mention should also be made of  Brigg's lack of courts.
She feels this to be a valid subject for discussion, noting that the former council-owned tennis courts near the Recreation Ground have been removed to become an area of car parking next to Brigg Town Football Club.
These courts became increasingly dilapidated over the years and would have required major investment to get them back into use, but they have now gone forever.
The ball's in your court if you wish to comment.
As things stand at present it would seem to be "Advantage Helen" in the debate.
