The closing date for nominations for the North Lincolnshire Community Awards is Sunday (30 September). You can nominate on the council’s website www.northlincs.gov.uk/communitychampionawards2012
Winners will receive stylish trophies in recognition of their success.
There are 26 categories you can nominate, under four main headings:
- Volunteers
- Achievement
- Community
- Inspiration
Coun John Briggs, cabinet member for Asset Management, Culture and Housing at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “If you know someone who deserves recognition – whether it’s for an outstanding achievement, voluntary work, sporting or art success, or you know someone who has made a real difference to people’s lives – then nominate them now before it’s too late.
