The Springbank Residents' Unity Group (RUG) will be holding its annual general meeting shortly.
It will be at the Resource Centre, Horstead Avenue, on October 3 (7pm).
At the meeting the following items will be covered:
- The aims of the Residents' Association
- What the Committee has achieved so far and what is planned.
- Treasurer’s report.
- The election of a new committee.
Chairman Richard Leach says: "Join us for our Annual General Meeting. The current committee will be standing down and a new committee will be elected. We are looking for more members to join."
"Help the committee make this a better estate. Is there a skill you have that you think we could use? We need your ideas on fund-raising and events. Committee members may attend all meetings and take part in the decision-making process."
There will be a presentation by Mark Flippance - A Case Study; Crime in a Built Up Environment (Springbank).
Representatives from the local Housing Associations, Safer Neighborhoods and the Police, amongst others, will be in attendance on.
