Brigg Town Football Club has made it through to the second stage of the 2019/20 FA Vase knockout competition for non-league teams.
Twice previous winners of the Vase, Town defeated Armthorpe Welfare 3-0 at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) yesterday (Saturday, August 31) in the first qualifying round.
The second qualifying round will take place on Saturday, September 14, with Brigg drawn away to Chadderton, who won 3-2 at Parkgate yesterday.
Chadderton is near Oldham, Greater Manchester, and its club belongs to the North West Counties League.
This season's Vase is sponsored by building and timber supplies company Buildbase, and there are cash rewards for all clubs taking part, increasing progressively, round by round.
The 2019/2020 winners will collect £30,000!
