BRIGG BUSINESS DONATES TOP PRIZE FOR LINCS LOTTO SUPERDRAW

A Brigg business has donated the top prize for the Lincs Lotto birthday Superdraw to be held later this month, with £25,000 and range of other prizes up for grabs.

FROM CHRIS O'ROURKE, NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL

To celebrate the second birthday of North Lincolnshire’s community lottery, Lincs Lotto, a Superdraw will take place on 28th September 2019.
As well as the usual £25,000 jackpot, players could win one of a number of special prizes in the Superdraw, all donated by local businesses.
The top prize, a mobility scooter worth £600, has been donated by Brigg Mobility Centre, with other special prizes including a drill set donated by Brian’s DIY (Brigg), a selection of fine dining gifts from Winteringham Fields and a cafĂ© voucher from 20-21 Visual Arts Centre.
Tickets for Lincs Lotto can be bought online at www.lincslotto.co.uk, with players in with a chance of winning a cash prize between £25 and £25,000 each week.
Sixty pence from each £1 ticket sold goes to one of the 125 local good causes signed up to Lincs Lotto.
Cllr Rob Waltham (Brigg & Wolds), Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said that the community lottery is a vital funding stream for local good causes.
“As well as providing players with the chance to win a jackpot of £25,000, since launching Lincs Lotto in 2017, lottery players have helped raise over £100,000 for local charities and other voluntary and community organisations," he said.
“For lots of good causes, every bit of funding can be life-changing, and by choosing to support Lincs Lotto, you know that a huge 60 per cent of your ticket price is going towards good causes on your doorstep, right here in North Lincolnshire.”
Players must purchase tickets before September 27 to be included in the birthday Superdraw. If signing up via direct debit, players must ensure they are registered before September 16 to be included in the draw, so don’t delay.
North Lincolnshire Council has appointed Gatherwell Ltd as the external lottery manager for Lincs Lotto.
