A road in Brigg is to be closed to traffic for extensive periods over three days.
Albert Street, which links the A1084 with Bigby Street in the town centre, is to be closed for drainage investigation works.
North Lincolnshire Council - responsible for drainage and highways - has already put up signs to alert motorists and residents.
Albert Street will be a no go area for drivers between 7am and 7pm for three days from Monday, September 16.
Workers will be jetting, inspecting and checking gullies - clearly very necessary tasks.
The diversionary route available will be via the A18 Monument roundabout and Bigby Road - not a lengthy detour.
On the same day (September 16) further roadworks are due to start on Wrawby Road, not far from the Churchill Avenue junction towards Brickyard Lane, Wrawby.
Cadent, the gas network company, will have temporary traffic controls in operation.
Gas main replacements are planned to last until October 11.
