RISE IN BRIGG CRIME - LATEST POLICE FIGURES


Latest Brigg crime figures released by the police show a rise in incidents recorded within the town.
Statistics issued through www.police.uk detail 51 crimes during February 2019 - a rise of six compared with January. They refer to incidents within a one-mile radius of the town centre.
Sixteen crimes took place within the town centre, six on the Springbank housing estate, four on/near Mill Lane and three on Newlands.

The latest monthly total of 51 crimes compares with 46 reported to police during February 2018 and 67 in February 2017.
