A sizeable crowd of 130 spectators watched a cup final hosted by Brigg Town Football Club at The Hawthorns which was sponsored by a Brigg company.
The EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District League Challenge Cup showpiece proved to be a very, very close encounter.
The Butchers Arms v Scotter United encounter ended 0-0 after extra time, with The Butchers winning 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out which followed the 120-minute stalemate.
It was third time lucky for The Butchers Arms, having already lost in a couple of cup finals this season.
League official Lee Fielden from Barnetby - representing the sponsoring company EC Surfacing of Brigg - presented the trophy to winning team captain Ben Gearing (see picture above) on Thursday, April 25.
