BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL FANS CAN TAKE THE TRAIN

Brigg Town Football Club return to Saturday action this weekend (April 20) with a visit to Gainsborough Trinity Reserves (3pm KO).
Brigg are second in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League Premier, while Gainsborough are third.
We wonder whether Zebras' supporters will be tempted to leave the car at home and take the train from Brigg station to Gainsborough - just two stops down the line.
The one they want leaves Brigg at 11.48am, arriving at Gainsborough Central at 12.10 - allowing time to look round the town and have a pint and a bite to eat.
The football ground is not far from the station, and the train back to Brigg leaves Gainsborough at 4.57pm.
Hopefully, there won't be too much "Fergie Time" added on at the end of the match.
Saturday will also see Briggensians playing their penultimate game of the season in the EC Surfacing Limited Scunthorpe & District League.
Second from bottom in division one, the Brigg-based team will be entertaining Crosby Colts - the only side below them (3pm KO).
In division two, second-placed Barnetby United Reserves will be hosting leaders Epworth Town Colts Blues at Silver Street on Saturday.
Epworth are seven points ahead at the top but Barnetby have two games in hand. So Saturday's encounter is an important one.
