DIRECT BUS SERVICE TO AND FROM BRIGG GARDEN CENTRE

Did you know - and we didn't until we looked it up online - that you can get a bus from the town centre to Brigg Garden Centre?
We mention the fact because the Christmas shopping season in now upon us and this might help with the parcel-carrying.
If you want to try it, here are the times for tomorrow - Saturday, November 25.
The Hornsby No 93 Brigg Town Service bus leaves Cary Lane at 10am and  will drop passengers at the Garden Centre, on Bigby High Road, on its way to Howsham and Cadney.
The return bus leaves Brigg Garden Centre at 12.12pm, taking five minutes to get back to Cary Lane.
This service also operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Wouldn't be more productive to pick-up visitors to the Garden Centre to travel to Brigg....and return them 3 hrs later?
The present schedule seems to defeat the notion of 'Shop Brigg'..

At present Kirton in Lindsey town council are doing a bus survey, the feedback seems to be NLC are not very pro active when it comes to promoting public transport.

When it comes to promoting itself, Brigg is very insular.
While local blog site continuously advertise such events as Farmer's Markets and the Christmas Fair....informing the already converted, there's very few promotional signs along the main thoroughfares informing the passing outsiders.
While car and coach-loads of folks pass thro' Brigg en-route to the Garden Centre, I'll wager there's strategically placed signs sited on the approaches to the Garden Centre inviting visitors an another reasons to visit Brigg itself.
