So this leaning sign is long overdue some attention.
Brigg Blog flagged up the wonky sign some months ago and expected things to be sorted when it reached the top of a council list of work to be done.
But it seems to have been overlooked, despite being passed by many local authority workers heading for Hewson House.
It could be, of course, that the 'leaning' status actually makes it more eye-catching to approaching drivers as they near the school.
In which case, maybe it's best left as it is!
How the sign became damaged is unclear. Could it have been struck by a passing vehicle? Did vandals pay a nocturnal visit? Has the concrete base just reached the end of its natural life?
