BROUGHTON IN THE PARK HAS PLENTY TO OFFER FAMILIES FROM BRIGG


Brigg people may well be interested in visiting our neighbouring town tomorrow - Saturday, September 16 - to enjoy the Broughton in the Park 2017 family fun day.
The event opens at 10.30am and half-an-hour later there will be will be a skate park competition at the sports ground on Scawby Road.
There's a  charity running event to watch from 11am called Broughton Burn, starting from the town's Rec.
Punch & Judy, archery, fiddle music and tug-of-war feature in a long list of attractions.
The Drop Deads will be performing a gig on the stage at 6pm, with a disco to follow from 7pm.

Remember: The Hornsby No 4 bus service operates between Cary Lane, Brigg, and Broughton on Saturdays, if you are thinking of attending. You can also board the No 4 at stops along Bridge Street and at Silversides, Scawby Road. Get off the bus at the Red Lion, in Broughton town centre, from where it's only a short walk  to the Rec on Scawby Road.
