CALLING ALL BRIGG AREA COMEDY FANS

People living in the Brigg area who like to enjoy a spot of comedy may well be interested in an evening coming up later this month.
The organisers have kindly furnished us with the following information, if you fancy popping along:
The Funhouse Comedy Club will be back at Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort, Broughton,  pictured above, on Friday, September 29th for another laughter-packed night.
Headlining will be winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016 the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity and truly impressive musical mastermind with hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.
Support comes from the effortlessly engaging Andrew Bird, who has supported Michael McIntyre, Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour as well as performing internationally.

Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight-year-old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. With his personal appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes he captivates his audiences.
Completing the line-up is Stuart Mitchell. After winning The Leicester Comedy Festival New Act of The Year Competition in 2010, he went on to appear on TV in Frank Skinner’s Opinionated, where he received a standing ovation from the panel members. His clever and cynical material is both hilarious and inspirational.
The animated and amiable Spiky Mike is compere for the night
Doors open 7pm, food will be served at 7.30 and the show starts at 8.15pm.
Tickets cost £20 including pie & peas supper and there's 20% discount on drinks
