It will be given tomorrow - Thursday, September 7 - at the Buttercross, in the town centre, starting at 7.30pm.
The speaker will be Roger Thomas, military historian.
Tickets cost £5, including tea and coffee, and are available from Brigg Heritage Centre, in the Angel building, and at the Tourist Information Centre on the ground floor of the Buttercross.
Pingley Camp, on the outskirts of Brigg, held German and Italian prisoners.
Above we see a picture taken long after the last prisoners had departed and prior to demolition and clearance of the site, off Bigby High Road.
