WHERE BRIGG VOTES WILL BE COUNTED FOR EUROPEAN UNION REFERENDUM

Voting papers from polling stations in Brigg and district in the UK's Membership of the European Union Referendum tomorrow (Thursday, June 23) will be taken to The Pods Leisure Centre in Scunthorpe, along with those from all other parts of North Lincolnshire.
The local counting officer will declare the result between 4am and 5am, once he has notified the regional counting team.
There will be 12 regions and then, finally, a national count and the long-awaited UK result.
Some experts are suggesting it may be as late as 7am on Friday before we know whether it's remain or exit.
Total valid votes cast will be used to decide the issue.
Interestingly to those of us living 'up north' the result will be announced from Manchester, not London.
Brigg people can cast their votes tomorrow between 7am and 10pm.
