RED & YELLOW IN BRIGG TOWN CENTRE

PICTURE AND REPORT BY KEN HARRISON

Norma Elmore says £280 was raised during Saturday's Brigg Farmers' Market, in aid of the Marie Curie charity.
Marie Curie's aim of offering care and support to terminally-ill cancer patients has recently been fundamentally changed to include all end of life, terminal conditions, such as cancer, heart failure and dementia.
The newly-formed Brigg-based nucleus of Marie Curie charity is  seeking new volunteers to extend the group's fund-raising and activities to develop this local very deserving cause  - and interested folk, or those requiring further information should initially contact Norma on 01652 650237.

ABOVE: Labour's candidate for the Brigg & Goole Parliamentary constituency, Jacky Crawford, left, purchases a daffodil from the Marie Curie ladies in Brigg town centre during Saturday's Farmers' Market. They are Rebecca Ducker, Chris Dunnian, Debbie Lewis-Bird and Norma Elmore.
