FLOWER POWER AT NEW WETHERPOON PUB IN BRIGG

Hanging baskets have been added at JD Wetherpoon’s White Horse pub in Brigg.

They are on the side wall, on Grammar School Road South, and help to set off the historic, preserved town water pump, in the distance on our picture.

We were going to use the old descriptive term “black-leaded” for the appearance of the pump,  but lead paint is no longer used.

However, older followers of Brigg Blog will recall black-leaded fireplaces.
