This will be done during a meeting of the Town Council, starting at 7.30pm.
The Town Mayor will be Brigg's first citizen for 12 months.
The final meeting of the Town Council prior to the election will be held on Monday, April 27, in the Angel Suite.
The election for the 19 seats on Brigg Town Council will be held on Thursday, May 7, when there will also be voting to elect an MP for Brigg & Goole and three representatives to represent Brigg & Wolds Ward on North Lincolnshire Council.
The current Town Mayor of Brigg is Coun Edward Arnott.
