BRIGG FOOTBALLERS BEATEN

Briggensians FC suffered a home defeat yesterday (Saturday) in division three of the TSW Printers Scunthorpe and District Football League.
The team, based at Sir John Nelthorpe School, lost 4-3 to Westwoodside Rangers, from the far side of the Isle of Axholme.
Goalscorers for Briggensians were Stuart  Ritchie (2) and David Whittam.
On Saturday, March 21 the Brigg team will visit Limestone Rangers Reserves, who are also mid-table.
