CROSSING IMPROVEMENTS PLEDGED IN BRIGG

Zebra crossing improvements for Bigby Road in Brigg - near the Nisa Local shop - have been announced by Coun Nigel Sherwood (Brigg and Wolds), the Cabinet Member for Highways and Neighbourhoods.
He revealed the scheme to Brigg town councillors at their monthly meeting in the Angel Suite, describing it as a total revamp.

This is good news...the crossing has always been dodgy...too near the junction to Queen St....on outside and somewhat blind bend of Bigby St...at a X road intersection.

In addition, can something be done to pre-warn motorists that Queens St is one-way?
It seems that some motorists comong from the direction of the Monument tend to concentrate upon the pedestrian x-ing and fail to see the very nearby No-Entry signs near Nisa.
