NEW BRIGG HOME GETS THE GO AHEAD

Planning permission has been granted to erect a dormer bungalow and demolish an existing garage in Brigg.
A supporting drawing sent to North Lincolnshire Council with the application shows a chalet-style property for land adjacent to The Bungalow, on Preston Drive.

A council planning officer's report said: "The design of the bungalow is in keeping with the surrounding dwellings and it is not considered that the proposal would detract from the character of the area or street scene."
Brigg Town Council supported the application.
Preston Drive links Grammar School Road with Hawthorn Avenue and is near the entrance to the Woodbine Park play area.
Preston Drive was named after a former officer of Brigg Urban District Council.

  • Planning approval has been granted by West Lindsey District Council for a rear extension at Wayside, 16, Patricks Close, North Kelsey.

The junction of Preston Drive and Grammar School Road, Brigg.
