BRIGG ROAD CLOSED UNTIL THE END OF THE WEEK

A road in Brigg has been closed to all vehicular traffic and is scheduled to stay that way until the end of this week.
A contractor working for North Lincolnshire Council, the local highway authority, is resurfacing the entire length of Manley Gardens.
When we took these pictures this morning - Wednesday, March 21 - the old road surface had been stripped away.
The road is expected to remain closed to vehicles until Friday, March 23.
Pedestrian access if unaffected by the roadworks.
Manley Gardens is a residential  cul-de-sac off Bridge Street - close to the A18.
Other streets in  the town are also to benefit from resurfacing in the near future.
Details to follow on Brigg Blog once we obtain firm dates.

We took this picture at the junction of the A18 and Bridge Street, showing a warning sign for drivers about the closure of Manley Gardens (centre left).
Cones indicating that Manley Gardens is not open to traffic at present.
