BRIGG PUB REOPENS WITH A NEW LOOK AFTER REFURB

Brigg Blog - and many others in the town - have already popped into the newly refurbished Lord Nelson Hotel, in the Market Place.
A lot more folk will be doing so over the coming days and weeks.
The Snaith-based Old Mill Brewery has invested in new furnishings and fittings, with further changes in the pipeline.
The aim is to give the old hostelry a new look.
Four good hand-pulled cask ales were on offer when we popped in late on Saturday night to pass on our best wishes to mine hosts Richard and Jordan Smith.
We had intended to get some pictures at 8pm but the place was just too full. So we returned later when the bar had thinned out a bit.
A number of old friends were about, including Lee Johnson, Neil Kynaston and Colin Mumby.

Pictured above are mine hosts at the Lord Nelson - Jordan and Richard Smith - raising a glass to the success of their refurbished premises in Brigg town centre.
