NEW JOBS TO ACCOMPANY NURSERY EXTENSION IN BRIGG

Additional Brigg jobs are set to be created by a nursery extension.
Planning permission is being sought to to erect an extension and carry out alterations to provide additional accommodation for the Munchkins Nursery.
The location is Demeter House School, on Bigby Street.
North Lincolnshire Council planners are now considering the application from Demeter House Ltd, which indicates the creation of four additional jobs, taking the overall number employed to 13.
Hours of opening are given as 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
In 2010, Melissa Marris told Brigg Blog they would be opening a new day nursery from September, offering places for 0-5 year-olds.
"We can offer large outdoor areas, including sensory and wildlife gardens, as well as newly refurbished separate indoor rooms for different age groups, with a wide range of daily activities offered to enable children to develop new skills and take part in new experiences in a safe environment," she said.
Earlier this year we reported that Munchkins Nursery had been awarded a five star 'very good' food hygiene rating by North Lincolnshire Council, following an inspection.
Our picture - taken in 2010 - shows the initial Munchkins open day, which attracted a good response.
