PROVISIONAL TRAIN TRAVELLER NUMBERS FOR THE ICONIC BRIGG LINE SHOW BIG RISE

The "Estimated" Office of Road and Rail passenger numbers for 12 calendar months of 2016/17 have been published.
These do not take into account people using the stations on things like the travel for £10 Northern Rail newspaper offer, etc, etc.


Brigg, was 1000 now 1710.
Kirton in Lindsey was 200 now 358
Gainsborough Central was 1352 now 996.

  • * Gainsborough Central 1352 down from 1552.
* Tickets marked "Gainsborough" which can be used on either station on a Saturday have not been taken into account.

NF ADDS: Passenger trains are running again today (Saturday, December 2) through Brigg railway station. We only receive passenger trains one day a week. They run between Sheffield and Cleethorpes, via Grimsby, Barnetby, Brigg, Kirton, Gainsborough and Retford.
