Half-a-dozen new garages are to be built in Brigg after granting of the necessary planning permission by North Lincolnshire Council.
The authority has agreed that Ongo - the social landlord for our area - can build them on land off Horstead Avenue, on the Springbank housing estate.
Their use will not be restricted to car-owning Ongo tenants, it has been suggested.
Vehicles are obviously more secure if parked up for the night, rather than being left in driveways or on the streets.
Brigg Town Council told the planners that it supported the scheme to provide more garages.
