NEW TRAVEL FIRM IN BRIGG

This month sees the launch of a new travel firm, based in Brigg. BlueDestination say they are in the process of organising a wide variety of day trips starting this spring for the local community. The initial one will see 50 ticket-holders departing Brigg and Scunthorpe and heading out for a day at Skegness.
Exact dates have yet to be announced - but after the maiden trip, BlueDestination intend to increase the amount of day trips they offer, as well as including more destinations in their schedule.
James Cammack, Managing Director of BlueDestination, said: “We intend to grow the business in an honest and realistic fashion. We want to start of with organising small day trips at first, before we expand and organise more optimistic larger-scale coach holidays. Hopefully towards the end of this year, we’ll start to offer weekend breaks to destinations such as London and Inverness.”
Many more people now wish to travel to places via coach, especially with the increasing price of petrol, coach travel is by far more efficient on ones finances, and it’s also better for the environment, not to mention coach passengers can relax and have a drink on them hot summer day breaks."
BlueDestination will be announcing the exact dates of the maiden coach trip to Skegness towards the end of March, with more destinations and trips to follow.

Winnie Cammack was actually my Auntie. My Grandfather is Kenneth Cammack, and Winnie was his sister. I can't remember much of Winnie, but I was very pleased to read about her in the Scunthorpe Telegraph's Nostalgia publication last month.
