ANGEL PROVING POPULAR

Angel Suite manager Karen Deeley reported a steady flow of booking enquiries when she gave her monthly update to members of Brigg Town Council which oversees the community facility, available to hire for conferences, weddings, meetings and family celebrations.
Karen revealed £700 in commercial booking fees for the lounge in the previous month, plus a further£500 over the next six weeks.
"I am, at the minute, looking to promote us as an exhibition venue for the arts," she added.
For the Clive Carroll (acoustic guitar player) concert on March 27, Karen reported £10 tickets selling in sufficient numbers, but forecast heavier demand in the days leading up to the event.
Christmas party night dates for 2010 will be December 11, 17 and 18 when Brigg groups and firms can enjoy themselves.
Karen's only downbeat comment related to the state of the woodwork outside the building - the responsibility of North Lincolnshire Council.
She suggested it was "getting to the stage of being embarrassing when welcoming visitors to the Angel Suite".
With a number of weddings and celebrations booked for the coming months, the Town Council is to raise its concerns with North Lincolnshire officials.
If you want to attend the Carroll concert (pardon the pun!) call Karen Deeley on 01652 659402 or 07903531201 without delay.
