LATEST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES FROM THE POLICE

Latest monthly crime figures for Brigg have been issued through www.police.uk
They show incidents within a one-mile radius of the town centre as reported to the Humberside force.
The latest figures are for June 2017 and show a month-on-month rise when compared with May (66 incidents).
June saw 77 crimes in various categories, as follows - in the order given by the police:

• Anti-social behaviour   8
• Bicycle theft        1
• Burglary   9
• Criminal damage and arson    8
• Drugs      1
• Other crime    1
• Other theft     6
• Possession of weapons     0
• Public order    2
• Robbery   0
• Shoplifting   1
• Theft from the person    0
• Vehicle crime   10
• Violence and sexual offences 30

By way of comparison, and using the police's own data, here are the totals for  previous years:

• June 2016 - 37crimes reported
• June 2015 - 42 crimes reported
