BRIGG CRICKETER HITS CENTURY
A batsman from Brigg Town Cricket Club scored a century during yesterday's Lincolnshire County Cricket League fourth division game against Scunthorpe Town 3rds on the Hibaldstow ground.
Brigg batted first and rattled up an impressive 209 for six in their 45 overs, with Matthew Bell finishing 100 not out and Danny Bradley making 54.
Nick Beacock then continued his good form with the ball by taking seven wickets for 28 runs as Scunthorpe were bowled out for 88.
Brigg continue to lead the division and next play second-placed Cleethorpes 4ths on Sunday, August 20 at Hibaldstow (1pm start).
