124 NEW HOMES PLANNED IN BRIGG

If anyone needed convincing that Brigg is a much sought-after place to live, just consider the current list of applications to build new properties in the town.
As Brigg Blog suggested recently when posting a picture of a site off Bridge Street (see below), redevelopment is now planned at the former Falcon Cycles site, where buildings have been cleared  behind the derelict ex-Corah's stocking factory offices to make the required room.
CLS Civil Engineering Ltd, of Atherton Way, is asking North Lincolnshire Council to approve 67 new homes at this location.

This application comes hot on the heels of one from a Lincoln firm to build 10 properties on land to the west of Almond Grove.
Two more dwellings are planned for land off Bigby High Road,  40 apartments are earmarked for vacant land on Station Road near the railway station and three are proposed for a vacant plot off Cross Street in the town centre.
Another dwelling is planned off Elwes Street and a further one on the vacant former lock-up garages site between Glebe Road, West Square and East Parade.
Those seven applications - all awaiting consideration by council planners - add up to a grand total of 124 new homes.
