BRIGG TOWN CENTRE POLICING WELCOMED

Tomorrow being Saturday, we'll be watching closely to see whether what appears to be a very welcome crime-prevention trend in Brigg continues.
For police patrols have been noted in the town centre on three recent Saturday nights.
We've seen foot and vehicular patrols keeping a watching brief in Wrawby Street and Bridge Street.
Law-abiding people are reassured by visible policing, while the few who may harbour criminal intent will be discouraged if they reckon officers are out and about.
