LINCOLNSHIRE TIMES MEMORIES SHARED AT BRIGG SERVICEMEN'S CLUB

We enjoyed sharing some Brigg memories during last night's History of the Lincolnshire Times talk for BASH at the Servicemen's Club.
Some members of the audience joined in with a few comments of their own, which added much to the evening. Old copies of the Times and black and white photographs were passed round.
Our thanks to Josie Webb and the rest of the team at BASH for the very kind invitation.
This was the third time we'd talked about the Lincolnshire Times, but on this occasion we put facts on a back burner and concentrated on chatting about an array of pictures projected onto the screen.
As Josie rightly said, the THIRD talk on the Times, but the FIRST to be illustrated!
The picture above was one of those we included and created great interest for at least two members of the audience!

Good show....I enjoyed the Potato Prices best!!
The photograph of the bevy of beauty contestants was exciting......but then I realised that they must now be over 70!!!....but at my age one can't be over-selective....!!!
