FIREWORK DISPLAY 'LONG OVERDUE FOR PEOPLE OF BRIGG'

Gary Roberts, sales and marketing director with Scunthorpe firm Rainbow Fireworks, says he thinks a communal display is long overdue for the people of Brigg.
Many Brigg people will remember the early November get-togethers that ran for many years at Brigg Recreation Ground.
Gary says that for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations his firm produced SEVEN shows over a weekend.
"Just down the road we put on a jaw-dropping fireworks display for South Ferriby," he says.
Fireworks did not form part of Brigg's well-received Jubilee celebrations.
Gary now says Rainbow Fireworks is willing to provide a professional display at a reduced cost this year to get the traditional Brigg bonfire/fireworks display "back up and running for 2012."
Rainbow Fireworks produce 60+ displays a year ranging from those accompanying bonfires to major public events.
Yesterday (July 7) they were at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sheffield producing a display for a concert “Music in the Park” - entertaining a crowd of around 15,000 people with a firework spectacular.
If anyone reading this is interested in taking up Gary's offer about a Brigg firework display, they can call him on 07931 949490 or email garyroberts@rainbowfireworks.co.uk
