It was enjoyable to visit the banks of the new River Ancholme a couple of Sundays ago to watch some of the Brigg Bomber Quadrathlon - notably the final, running section of the event that went down Cadney Road, Bridge Street and finished at the Ancholme Leisure Centre, just over the border in Scawby Brook.
We chatted to Coun Ben Nobbs for some time, as the warm sun beat down (strange this summer!) and now see that some of the pix he was busy taking have been used in a very full report on the website of event organisers Lincsquad.
