People living in Brigg and district who are seeking employment should note that a new jobs portal has been launched.
Offering help to Find Your Perfect Job, it replaces a long-established vacancy website provided by North Lincolnshire Council.
The new Recruitment Portal can be found at https://northlincs.current-vacancies.com/Careers/NLC-1930?cid=1930
The council says: "Here, you will discover a much improved candidate experience where you can provide application details in advance and register for detailed job alerts." For the time being it is running in conjunction with the familiar jobs site www.northlincs.gov.uk/jobs
But the authority stresses: "If you are registered to receive alerts on this jobs page, you will need to re-register on the new portal."
Brigg Blog can confirm that the new site is user-friendly, and currently contains a job on offer at Sir John Nelthorpe School for a science technician on a salary scale £13,875 to £15,019. Closing date: December 14 (9am). View full details here...
