BEWARE OF FAKE TICKETS, PEOPLE IN BRIGG AREA WARNED

People living in Brigg and the surrounding district should beware of fake tickets being sold for a Christmas event that is NOT taking place, North Lincolnshire Council informs us.
A spokesperson for the local authority says: "We are aware a number of fake events have been created for a non-existent Normanby Hall Christmas market.
"To be clear - this year there is no physical Normanby Hall Christmas market, but there will be a virtual one on, which is taking place online on Normanby Hall's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/normanbyhall on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December.
"We are circulating the message not to buy any tickets from the fake event; any tickets purchased from them will not gain you entry to the hall or park."
Last December, Brigg Blog was very interested to receive details of a travelling historical market at Normanby Hall in the run up to Christmas, which we publicised - knowing many people from our area would be keen to attend.
Indeed, it prompted us to suggest that Brigg might be a suitable location for something similar, but perhaps on a smaller scale.
