Several weeks ago we revealed a significant Environment Agency project to improve flood defences on the Old River Ancholme, taking pictures of the Island Carr works from the other side of the river, near the Cadney Road railway bridge and not far from Manley Gardens.
A temporary track was created across the adjoining field - running a considerable distance to Mill Lane.
These pictures show the compound installed as part of this project, viewed at close quarters from Mill Lane.
The flood defence work is expected to continue until mid-January.
