Don’t miss out on Christmas 2020 bin collections to be carried out in Brigg by North Lincolnshire Council. Many properties in the town which are usually visited by bin lorries on Tuesdays need to be aware of a change.
The burgundy (plastic and cardboard) bin emptying has been brought forward by 24 hours and will take place on MONDAY, December 21 instead of Tuesday 22nd.
Brigg's 'full' collections are unchanged and will be undertaken on Tuesday, December 15 and then again on Tuesday, December 29.
On these dates the crews will empty blue and green recycling boxes as well as general household waste bins.
As the December 29 collection follows Christmas Day and Boxing Day, remember that aluminium foil can be placed in your green box, together with metal cans and glass boxes & jars.
The first New Year collection in Brigg will be on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 (burgundy bin - plastic and cardboard only).
Brown garden bins will not be emptied again in 2020 due to the time of year.
