WELL-KNOWN BRIGG BUSINESS BRIAN'S DIY HELPS LINDSEY LODGE HOSPICE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Lindsey Lodge Hospice has received support from well-known Brigg town centre Brian's DIY, on Wrawby Street, in the run up to Christmas.

FROM LAURA NELSON

During November and December, we ran a competition in support of Lindsey Lodge Hospice. The first prize was a Begasso Mountain Bike worth £375; 2nd prize a £20 voucher to use in store at Brian’s Cycles or Brian’s DIY.
Managing Director Pete Wilson said: “It’s been a difficult year for most people, but we want to continue supporting the local community as much as possible. We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to raising a fantastic total of £640 for the Hospice.”
Lindsey Lodge Fundraising Manager Kirsty Walker said: “On behalf of everyone at Lindsey Lodge, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Brians Cycles and DIY for their fantastic support.
“As a local charity we’re in unprecedented times due to Covid-19, so we’re truly grateful to everyone involved for raising much-needed funds for us.
“Every penny they have raised for Lindsey Lodge will go to supporting North Lincolnshire patients and families.”
The raffle was drawn at random by our Cycle Shop Manager, Steve; the winner was NHS nurse Naomi Perry. Naomi was delighted to win the bike and picked it up from the shop this week.
Brigg Blog's thanks go to Laura for this report and picture, which was in our email 'in-box' when we got home after a shopping trip yesterday afternoon (Monday) which included a visit to... Brian's!
