BRIGG FARMERS' MARKET ON SATURDAY: STOCK UP ON CHRISTMAS PRODUCE

The December 2020 Brigg Farmers' Market will be held tomorrow (Saturday 19th) giving shoppers the chance to stock up on provisions for the festive season and buy gifts for friends and family members.
Stalls will be sited close to those of the general Saturday market - also arranged by North Lincolnshire Council and going ahead tomorrow from early morning into the afternoon.
For 20 Coronavirus-free years, the farmers' market prior to Christmas has conistently attracted the biggest turn-out when compared with the others held monthly since 2000.
The council's free car parking concession on Saturdays has helped to attract visitors.
This December of course, the Covid-19 emergency is with us. However, a good turn-out is still expected tomorrow, and many visitors will also call in at Brigg shops in the Market Place and elsewhere.
Sadly, there will be no opportunity to enter into the Christmas spirit (literally) as all our pubs remain closed by order of the government - North Lincolnshire still being in the Tier 3 category.
