BRIGG TEAM IN NATIONAL FINAL TOMORROW: WE HOPE TO BRING YOU SCORE UPDATES FROM THE GROUND

Brigg Hockey Club will play its biggest ever match tomorrow (Saturday, April 29) - the final of the national Hockey Vase competition in London.
A team from Southampton stands between Brigg and the prestigious trophy.
The venue for the final from 1pm is the the Valley Sports Centre.
Brigg Blog is hoping to receive score updates from the ground, supplied by one or two followers of the team who are going down to spectate. If so, we will share them with our followers as the final progresses.
Andrew Markham, a veteran goalkeeper with the club, wrote to Brigg Town Council about the club's achievement.
His letter was considered during the April meeting, held on Monday night in the Angel Suite.
If Brigg triumph in the final, we expect the Town Council will be sending its congratulations through the Town Mayor.
Brigg Town FC twice won the FA Vase - football's famous equivalent of the national hockey competition.
So let's hope for what will be a magnificent sporting hat-trick.

Our picture shows Brigg (green shirts) in action during their quarter-final win on the new floodlit "Blue Astro" pitch at the Recreation Ground, provided by North Lincolnshire Council.
