Coming soon to Brigg - "8 new homes - stunning town houses" says a sign we photographed recently at this development which is now taking shape.
The location is the former school canteen/kitchen site on Colton Street, which had stood empty for some years following demolition of the buildings where so many school dinners were cooked over the years.
North Lincolnshire Council refused planning permission for eight homes with associated access and landscaping works but granted another application to build six.
However, the council has now confirmed that an appeal against refusal of the initial application was upheld, which means that eight homes can be built.
The applications were made by Run Developments, of Bishop Norton.
