BRIGG BLOG IS NOT ONE TO POINT THE FINGER, BUT...

Rail campaigner for the Brigg line, Paul Johnson, recently expressed his delight after new finger post signs were added in the town centre to point potential passengers towards our railway station, which a good many folk don't even know exists.
After passing on his thanks to the authorities for the new signage on Bigby Street and Wrawby Street, Paul added a rider that a post in the Market Place, near the entrance to Cary Lane, was still awaiting its addition.
We took his picture last weekend and it speaks for itself. There is, as yet, no sign of a sign pointing to Station Road.
Hopefully it won't be long in coming. For the considerable "footfall" enjoyed by the Market Place makes this a most walked past location.
Brigg only sees passenger trains on Saturdays and the rule of thumb is that every additional passenger using the line helps the campaign to get more trains introduced on other days of the week.
