BRIGG CRICKETERS OUTLINE PLANS FOR FUTURE

Brigg Town Cricket Club has been given approval to play a number of next season's home games at Hibaldstow - as a temporary measure.
Refurbishment of Brigg Recreation Ground, off Wrawby Road, is continuing.
But although the extensive new changing room block will be finished and ready for use by the start of the 2017 cricket campaign next spring, the playing area will not.
So Brigg Town will stage some Lincolnshire County Cricket League division four home games on Sundays and Saturdays at nearby Hibaldstow, by kind permission of the village club.
Some other teams have also pledged their help over match venues.
Brigg sent a delegation of members to the Lincolnshire League's annual meeting in Market Rasen, led by chairman Mark Cawkwell, pictured above.
North Lincolnshire Council's refurbishment programme for The Rec was outlined to member clubs duringt the AGM.
Brigg Town's home fixtures during the 2016 season were all played at Brocklesby Park.
