LINCOLNSHIRE DIALECT BOOK FOR CHRISTMAS?

Brigg Blog followers thinking about Christmas gifts for friends and family might consider a book called Lincolnshire Dialect by Lindsey Bourne.
You don't hear dialect words being used as often as you used to in the Brigg area.
But with the publicity afforded by books like this one, we really hope that our county's dialect will NIVVER die out!
The book costs virtually NOWT -  view details and order online through this link...

Our picture shows Brigg Market Place in the early 20th century when Lincolnshire dialect would have been spoken by many locals.
