BRIGG PEOPLE SHORTLISTED FOR AWARDS

Three people from Brigg have made the North Lincolnshire shortlist for Community Champion Awards, together with pupils from a local school.
The individuals  are Natasha Eardley, Jean Neall and Dominic Ellis, while the pupils are from Wrawby school.

Last week a panel of judges shortlisted the nominations for the Community Champion Awards, which we can now reveal.
Over 130 nominations were received and these have been shortlisted down to 49 across the 22 awards.

Coun John Briggs, Cabinet Member for Commercial Enterprise, said: “It is never an easy task shortlisting the nominations as they are all worthy winners. It is amazing what people in North Lincolnshire do for others and the things they have achieved. They should all be extremely proud of their achievements.
“After lots of discussions, we did manage to shortlist the nominations. The winners will be announced at the ceremony at The Baths Hall. It is going to be a brilliant evening with real community spirit to recognise the great people we have in North Lincolnshire.”
