CHRISTMAS BIN COLLECTIONS IN BRIGG

Here's a graphic explaining when Brigg bins and recycling boxes will be emptied over the Christmas period by North Lincolnshire Council. The above shows the pick-ups for DN20 8 postcodes. Double-check yours here
Our thanks go to Kirsty Westfield, at the local authority, for explaining things in more detail below...

During the festive period your bin and box collection dates will change due to the way the bank holidays fall this year. Please check your collection calendar for your rearranged dates.
If you don’t have a collection calendar, you can request a calendar or check your collection dates online at www.northlincs.gov.uk/waste or call 01724 297000.
From Saturday 19 December you will receive an extra collection of your general waste.
During the week commencing Monday 21 December all collections will move to the day before. For example, if your normal collection is on a Monday your collection that week will move to Saturday 19 December. Tuesday’s collections will move to Monday and so on through to Friday collections that move to Thursday.

To enable us to make this extra collection, brown bin collections will be stopped temporarily over the Christmas period from the week of Saturday 19 December. Brown bin collections will start up again the week commencing Monday 4 January.
All bins, boxes and bag collections week commencing Monday 4 January will move to the next day. For example, if your normal collection is on a Monday your collections that week will move to Tuesday 5 January, Tuesday collections will move to Wednesday and so on through to Friday collections that move to Saturday.
All collection dates will return to normal from Monday 11 January 2016.
