BRIGG TOWN FC ENJOY ANOTHER TONIC WIN
Brigg Town Football Club had another tonic win yesterday (Saturday, January 13) in the ToolStation Northern Counties East First Division. And this one was away from home.
The Zebras triumphed 1-0 at Swallownest, in South Yorkshire, but remain second from bottom in the standings.
Jonny Nicholls scored the all-important goal in the 70th minute, and the 151 attendance was the best of the day in this division.
It was Brigg's first away league win of the campaign and their second successive victory.
Can they keep the revival going this Saturday (January 20) when they host mid-table Ollerton Town at The Hawthorns (3pm KO)?
Brigg are now only three points behind third-from-bottom Nostell Miners Welfare - and the Zebras have a game in hand.

In Division Two, Barnetby United Reserves enjoyed a 3-2 home win over New Holland Villa at Silver Street.
On the mark were Declan Lyons, Ben Popple, Josh Smith.
Barnetby's first team and Briggensians FC were without games.

Division One: Barnetby United v The Butchers Arms
Division Two: Crosby Colts v Barnetby United Reserves, Epworth Colts Blues v Briggensians.
Briggensians are second in the table, with Barnetby Reserves in third spot.
