Top Government minister Eric Pickles MP came to Brigg - meeting local councillors and touring the Angel complex.
As Local Government supremo Eric is a Conservative, and as Brigg Blog is, as you know, strictly neutral in terms of politics, we thought it only right to present a balanced report.
So here's a Tweet we spotted from Coun John Collinson, a Labour member of North Lincolnshire Council and former chairman of the important planning committee, who said: "Apparently, no room to park in Brigg, Pickles in town."
The Scunthorpe Telegraph caught up with Eric while he was at the Angel.
